About Brianna Gomez

I’m Brianna Gomez, a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern born and raised in Miami, Florida. I hold dual master’s degrees in Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Louisiana Monroe. My therapeutic approach is grounded in trauma-informed care with a strong foundation in narrative therapy. I also integrate techniques from Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), grief counseling, and attachment-based practices. This combination allows me to help clients make sense of their experiences and move forward with greater clarity, purpose, & confidence. My clinical experience comes from working in a trauma center where I have supported children, adolescents, and adults from diverse cultural backgrounds. I specialize in helping clients navigate trauma, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. I treat non-death loss such as divorce, breakups, job loss, deportation / family separation, and more. In our work together, I strive to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered to reshape your story and explore new ways of being. No one should have to face life’s challenges alone. Together, we can work toward healing, clarity, and a stronger sense of self — one day at a time.
