Amanda Alvarez

With nearly two decades of experience as a speech-language pathologist, Mandy Alvarez founded Integrated Children's Therapy in 2007 to advance a whole-child approach that places social and emotional development at the center of therapy. She is recognized for creating a distinctive therapeutic model that helps children who have struggled to connect with peers, and in 2018 was honored as a Miami-Dade Outstanding Professional by the UM-NSU Center for Autism and Related Disorders for her clinical innovation, leadership, and collaborative spirit. Mandy holds a master's degree in communication sciences and disorders from Nova Southeastern University and has advanced training in DIR Floortime, PROMPT, Social Thinking, and several other specialized approaches.
