Angelica Gonzalez

Angelica Gonzalez, MSEd, LMHC, is a multilingual psychotherapist, speaker, and founder of Eden Therapy Co with more than 20 years of experience working with adolescents, young adults, adults, families, and groups. Her clinical focus is trauma recovery, emotional healing, and helping individuals develop greater safety, connection, and freedom, integrating evidence-based and creative approaches including CBT, DBT, psychodrama, and EMDR. She began her career at Miami Children's Hospital in the psychiatric unit, facilitating groups for children and adolescents struggling with self-injury and significant emotional distress, then spent five years working with trauma survivors, further developing her expertise in trauma recovery and emotional regulation. She later expanded her clinical experience at Oliver-Pyatt Centers, working with individuals and families in higher levels of care for eating disorders. Since opening her private practice in 2013, she has combined trauma-informed care with creative and experiential interventions to help clients process difficult experiences and move beyond simply coping toward meaningful healing and restoration. She has taught Group Therapy to Master's candidates at the University of Miami and has spoken nationally and internationally on trauma, self-injury, eating disorders, mental health, and recovery. She is also the host of Eden's Table, a podcast exploring the intersection of faith, psychology, and healing. Fluent in Spanish, English, and Portuguese, Angelica brings warmth, creativity, and authenticity to her work, and is passionate about helping people heal their stories, rediscover hope, and move toward freedom and restoration.
