About Be Strong

Be Strong is a national nonprofit founded in 2014 by the Moore family in South Florida after struggling to find bullying-prevention resources for their own child. Using a student-led, peer-to-peer model, Be Strong works to prevent bullying, social isolation, and youth suicide through its Student Representative Program, Resilience Program (a school-based social-emotional curriculum), the Never Alone Campaign, and a free, anonymous mobile app connecting students to mental, emotional, relational, and basic-needs support nationwide.
