About Child and Adolescent Mood and Anxiety Treatment Program (CAMAT)

The Child and Adolescent Mood and Anxiety Treatment (CAMAT) program is a clinical research and training program in the Department of Psychology at the University of Miami dedicated to developing and testing state-of-the-art psychotherapy approaches for anxiety and depression in children and adolescents. CAMAT provides in-depth psychological evaluations and evidence-based intervention services for youth with emotional disorders using the Unified Protocol for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders in Children and Adolescents (UP-C/A). Families in South Florida may be eligible to receive these services at no-cost through research funding provided by The Children’s Trust and The Batchelor Foundation. CAMAT also provides low-cost treatment for tic disorders using the Comprehensive Behavioral Intervention for Tics (CBIT). All master’s and doctoral-level student clinicians at CAMAT are supervised by Licensed Clinical Psychologists. Services are offered in English and Spanish.
