Dr. Marisa Byles

I'm a licensed psychologist and Certified Eating Disorders Specialist Consultant in Jacksonville, FL, and I am the Chief Clinical Officer at Restored Purpose Counseling. My passion is in helping individuals improve their relationships with food and their bodies. Promoting awareness of eating disorders in the community, advocating for body positivity, and kicking diet culture to the curb are some of my personal favorites. In addition to treating eating disorders and body image concerns, I treat anxiety disorders, depression and other mood disorders, and adjustment disorders. Family and friends mean everything to me. That includes my four-legged best friend, Buffy. I am grateful for the wonderful relationships I have and to be close to my hometown of St. Augustine, FL. In my free time, you will find me at the beach, walking my pup, baking, or watching scary movies. All with dog hair on my clothes, probably.
