Heather Stein

Dr. Heather Stein is a Doctor of Nursing Practice and a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health nurse practitioner at South Florida Integrative Medicine. She completed her graduate training and specialization in mental health medicine at Florida International University. Dr. Stein’s doctoral research was on the use of supplements versus psychotropic medications for pediatric and adolescent patients. While a student, Dr. Stein was honored by Baptist Hospital as a Baptist Health South Florida Scholar. Her clinical areas of specialty and interest include attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), autism spectrum disorder (ASD), anxiety, mood disorders, disruptive behaviors, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Her professional work background has included tenures in a variety of patient care settings, from hospital Intensive Care to community clinic practice. Dr. Stein joined our group in 2022 and treats child, adolescent, and adult patients.
