About Howard Lerner

Howard Lerner, CAP, ICADC is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of South Miami Recovery. A native Miamian, Howard found his direction and purpose in helping others seek recovery after his own struggle with substance dependency. Since 1987 he has provided primary inpatient care at Mt. Sinai Hospital, started outpatient and residential programs at South Miami Hospital, and most recently served as Clinical Director for Baptist Health Systems' Addiction Treatment Center.
