Katie Merricks

Dr. Katie Merricks completed her Ph.D. in combined Counseling and School Psychology from Florida State University and specializes in the treatment of obsessive-compulsive and anxiety related disorders. While at The Rothman Center and Rogers Behavioral Health, she was trained by internationally known experts in the OCD field. She currently serves as President of the International Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder Foundation of Central and South Florida, and looks forward to bringing awareness to the community and educating providers and families alike on the nature and treatment of OCD. Dr. Merricks has been ranked one of the 'Three Best' psychologists in Clearwater for seven years in a row — 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, and now 2026 — by ThreeBestRated.com.
