Leanne Shapiro

Dr. Leanne Shapiro provides treatment to children, adolescents, families, and young adults, with a focus on anxiety, depression, adjustment disorders, behavioral disorders, bereavement, and individuals with chronic and terminal medical conditions. Throughout her training, Dr. Shapiro worked extensively with pediatric populations both in the United States and abroad, focusing her research in pediatric health psychology and mindfulness-based interventions. She is on staff at Baptist Hospital, runs a charity foundation to help children and families going through cancer treatment, and serves on the Medical Advisory Board of the Health Information Project (HIP).
