The CHAT Lab

The CHAT Lab (Children Having Authentic Talks) is a Coral Gables-based nonprofit that equips children in grades 3–5 with evidence-based emotional skills through a 6-week, onsite program. Led by experienced mental health professionals and educators, the program builds resilience, stress management, and social problem-solving through interactive 90-minute weekly workshops. The curriculum is rooted in proven behavioral techniques and supported by the Child Mind Institute, and is offered at zero cost to host organizations including schools, after-school programs, libraries, and community centers.
