William Wicks

William Wicks, MS, RMHCI, is a therapist who specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults of all ages who have been diagnosed with conditions such as Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD), Phobias, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD), Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Trauma, Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and Bipolar Disorder. He earned a Master of Science Degree in Professional Counseling Psychology from Carlos Albizu University in December 2023. Mr. Wicks is trained in various therapeutic modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). He is also a certified personal health trainer and draws upon his experience in that profession to motivate and help his clients set and achieve their goals. He emphasizes in his practice the importance of nurturing a healthy and holistic balance between the body, spirit, and mind.
