I work as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. My primary area of practice is working with clients on how to manage symptoms of depression and anxiety in your day to day lives. My therapeutic approach is a journey of self exploration where clients begin to unfold their past experiences and how they relate to their present day life. The self-exploration experience begins with education of symptoms, what is depression? what is anxiety? how does it show up for you? We continue to identify triggers, thoughts, emotions, and responses. My area of focus is typically depression, anxiety, unresolved grief, trauma, people pleasing behaviors, improving self-confidence, self-advocacy, communication styles, and giving permission to self; saying yes to yourself.
