Brett Engle

I began working with adolescents and adults with severe and chronic mental illnesses in 1997. I have provided supportive, person-centered counseling and psychoeducation for people with psychiatric diagnoses, ranging from schizophrenia to depression and generalized anxiety. In 2007, I became a motivational interviewing practitioner and trainer, which I have used to promote health behavior change of all kinds. Eight years ago I underwent intensive training and began treating PTSD, panic disorders, and specific phobias. Most recently, I have incorporated breath work and other innovative mind-body treatment and wellness practices, including the Wim Hof Method to address addiction and promote overall mental and physical health.
