Naomi Ben-Ami

Naomi Ben-Ami, Psy.D. serves as the Clinical Director of the Williamsburg Therapy Group, bringing more than 10 years of experience working with individuals and couples; clients often come to her when they feel "stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about themselves or their relationships, and are looking for therapy that offers clarity, direction, and meaningful change." Her approach to therapy is "responsive rather than prescriptive—rooted in empirical understanding and grounded in genuine human connection," drawing from cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness-based, and psychodynamic models to offer both practical tools for present difficulties and deeper, insight-oriented work. Her clinical training includes work in community mental health centers, university counseling services, and intensive psychiatric settings, including a role as a staff psychologist at Mount Sinai Roosevelt Hospital's Center for Intensive Treatment of Personality Disorders.
