Susan Zsigo

I’m Susan Zsigo, a Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern with over a decade of experience as both a teacher and school counselor. Over the years, I’ve developed a deep understanding of the academic, social, and emotional challenges that children, adolescents, and young adults often face, particularly those dealing with ADHD, anxiety, depression, and behavioral concerns. ​ I’m especially passionate about working with young adults and women as they navigate complex issues such as eating disorders, body image struggles, body dysmorphia, PTSD, and major life transitions like divorce. With a background that blends education and counseling, I bring both empathy and practical insight into the therapy room, helping clients build the skills they need to grow, heal, and thrive. ​ My therapeutic approach is collaborative, compassionate, and rooted in practical tools. I work alongside clients to explore underlying patterns, strengthen emotional resilience, and foster meaningful, lasting change. Whether someone is healing after a breakup, processing shame related to body image, or learning to manage the day-to-day challenges of ADHD, I aim to provide a supportive and nonjudgmental space where self-acceptance and growth can truly take shape.
