Dr. Kesia Vazquez, LCSW

I’m Dr. Kesia Vazquez, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker dedicated to helping women, teens, and young adults challenge unhelpful thought patterns, process pain, and step into their power. With over 15 years of experience, I specialize in guiding individuals through anxiety, trauma, grief, and identity shifts with empathy, structure, and results-driven care. I primarily draw from Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy (REBT), an approach that empowers clients to recognize and reframe the beliefs that keep them stuck. Through REBT, we identify the “shoulds” and rigid rules that create emotional distress—and replace them with healthier, more flexible thinking that supports long-term growth and peace. My work also integrates grief-informed care, trauma-sensitive practices, and a culturally responsive lens. Whether you’re grieving a loss, navigating a tough transition, or working through low self-worth, I provide a supportive, no-judgment space to do the deep work. I have a passion for working with foster care alumni, first-generation college students, and neurodivergent individuals who often feel unseen or overwhelmed. I also supervise aspiring therapists and teach at the college level, with a focus on real-world tools for healing and self-leadership. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start. If you’re ready to question old beliefs and build a life with more clarity and purpose, I’d be honored to support you.
