About Lisa Bour

Lisa Bour earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida. She earned her law degree from Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida, and further completed her Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling Psychology at Florida International University in Miami, Florida. Lisa has previous experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. She has worked in a variety of clinical settings including residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient hospitalization, and outpatient services. Lisa has experience working with clients with emotion dysregulation, anxiety, depression, eating disorders, behavioral disorders, interpersonal skills deficits, family and relational difficulties, and self-esteem issues. Prior to joining the Counseling Group, Lisa received training in individual and group therapy at the Center for Children and Families at Florida International University, where she provided therapy to children with behavioral and mood disorders, as well as provided skills training to their parents. Lisa also received training at Monte Nido, an eating disorder treatment facility, where she provided individual and group therapy, as well as client meal support.
