Dr. Maccarrone is the co-founder and Clinical Director of The Social Cog, a non-profit organization dedicated to creating community among adults with Autism Spectrum Disorders and other related disabilities. Additionally, he was formerly a faculty member at Barry University. He regularly provides presentations on a variety of topics locally at schools and other organizations, and has also presented at statewide conferences. In January 2017, Dr. Maccarrone was presented the "Outstanding Contribution to Psychology in the Public Interest" award by The Florida Psychological Association. Dr. Maccarrone provides services via telehealth and in-person at PPA's Boca Raton location.
