Nicole Llerena Gonzalez

Dr. Nicole Llerena Gonzalez is a Licensed Psychologist at South Miami Psychology Group deeply committed to understanding and nurturing the unique academic and emotional needs of children. She conducts comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations covering intelligence (IQ), academic skills in reading, math, and writing, attention, visual processing, memory and learning, as well as social and emotional well-being. Her evaluations include an inclusive, holistic approach gathering insights from tests, teachers, and other significant figures in the child's life, and she provides tailored, actionable recommendations for parents, teachers, and counselors. Her areas of specialty include assessment of children, adolescents, and young adults, intellectual abilities, giftedness, learning disorders, and attention deficit disorders. She holds a Doctor of Psychology (Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology and a Master of Science (M.S.) in Clinical Psychology from Nova Southeastern University, and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Psychology from Florida International University. She is an Adjunct Faculty member at the Institute for the Study of Human Service, Health, and Justice at Nova Southeastern University, and a member of the American Psychological Association (APA) and Florida Psychological Association (FPA).
